The former newsletter of the Guyana Central Arya Samaj, the Arya Patrika, was renamed in August 2003. The new name given to the newsletter was - Samaaj Vaani (Voice of the Samaaj). Due to the fact that in the past the Arya Patrika was only printed sporadically, the need for a more consistent publication was designed and initialised. The Samaaj Vaani is being published on a monthly basis.
Initially, 200 copies were printed monthly, then at present 500 copies are printed and distributed to all the Arya Samaj Temples in Guyana, whether affiliated or not to the Guyana Central Arya Samaj (GCAS). It provides news and information on all current activities executed by GCAS. It also has a Hindi Section and a Prachaar Section. Costs to offset printing and distribution were born by donations. Fellow Samajes are encouraged to submit reports, photos or any information regarding any activity or celebration occuring in their region.
